Amazon Lightsail

Decided to use Amazon's Lightsail service for the deployment of this website. One word: WOW.

I can't even begin to detail all the hours I've spent putting together robust WordPress platforms. File and folder permissions, .htaccess configs, WordPress hardening, and so on. Amazon's new service takes all the hassle out and gets you up and running with a core WordPress instance in minutes.

I could go into more detail but instead I recommend you check it out for yourself. The first month is free for a base instance and $5 per month after: lightsail.aws.amazon.com.

Enjoy!
